This project came to fruition after reviewing a songbook compiled by Gintarė Skėrytė, a Lithuanian singer, titled "Why?" The songbook includes 12 songs specifically designed for young singers and was published by Music Information Centre Lithuania. The "Network of Vocal Arts" is thrilled to present a concert program that has been carefully curated with devotion and passion, featuring a selection of pieces from this educational collection created by Lithuanian composers. The compositions, which showcase the work of six different Lithuanian composers and feature lyrics written by Lithuanian poets, are sure to delight the audience.
